The two bedroomed house, which will sleep up to five people, is situated in a small complex of 38 houses called Ribera de la Zenia which has been built towards the edge of La Zenia. La Zenia itself is on the Orihuela Costa, south of Torrevieja and north of San Javier. It is convenient for both Alicante (40 mins drive) and Murcia (San Javier) airports (20mins drive).
There are plenty of facilities within easy walking distance of the house - e.g. beaches, supermarkets and other shops, restaurants, car hire, banks etc. The house is well situated for golfers with several courses within only 10 minutes drive and many more easly accessible within an hour's drive.
The property has a small front garden with a covered porch area and table and chairs for dining and relaxing 'al fresco'. The front door leads into a spacious air-conditioned lounge and dining area which includes both a sofa and a sofa-bed. There is also a TV with UK channels (including film and sports channels), a video recorder and radio/tape/CD player for your entertainment. The American-style kitchen has marble work tops and is fully equipped with sink, oven and hob, microwave and a large fridge/freezer to keep your drinks cold. The cloakroom and the outdoor utility area (with automatic washing machine) complete the ground floor.
Upstairs are two bedrooms (one double and one twin) and both have fitted wardrobes. The main bedroom is air-conditioned and also has a door onto the balcony. The bathroom, which has a bath, shower and bidet, is also found on the first floor.
The property has an allocated car parking space just a few steps from the front gate whilst the communal swimming pool, which rarely gets busy, is also virtually right outside.
La Zenia provides a quiet location for a relaxing holiday with everything you need nearby. Whilst the use of a hire car will add a whole new dimension to your holiday it is certainly not essential.
